There are many tools that can improve the air quality in your home by filtering the particulate matter. The particulate matter can enter the home through doors or windows, and can be created within the home from activities like cooking and vacuuming.
Using air purifiers, specifically HEPA (high efficience particulate air), helps to remove the particulate matter from the air. HEPA purifiers are best when used in the room of the house where people spend the most time, typucally the bedroom. If you would like to browse HEPA purifiers, here is a great option.
While HEPA purifiers are the best tool for removing particulate matter from your home, they are quite expensive, especially when you consider the price of replacing the internal filter every six months. A much cheaper option that uses common household items is a DIY air purifier, using standard HVAC filters and a box fan.
